Detailed description
-
• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
You are able to slipstream a corner regardless of speed. You have to pay heat to cross a turn over the limit but when using slipstream you effectively didn't blow the corner because you ended your turn before the turn and slipstreamed around it. Boosting ect adds to your speed however slipstreaming does not.

Report history
Please read the rules again, corner checking happens AFTER slipstreaming.
Speed = Sum of the values of all the cards in your Play Area, +1 if you used the Adrenaline Bonus
It doesn't mention to add slipstream value.
It also confirms Note on point 6.
Note: Slipstreaming does NOT increase your Speed value for the purpose of the Check Corner step.
- if the slipstream is applied after a corner, you don't add it
- if the slipsteam is applied before the corner, you add it to the speed, which I think is not right based on the rules. Pls send me a reference if you think your implementation is still valid.
Move #229
Progression 37%
My move put me at the corner line. I was positioned behind another car and could slipstream. The game added 2 to my speed causing me to gain heat. The rule book on the Days of Wonder website states 'Note: Slipstreaming does NOT increase your Speed value for the purpose of the Check Corner step.'
