Cannot click on any of my cards to reduce to four cards -- likely because the cute alien will move to my opposite and I would be down to four.

Report history
You are even mixing up the Hand Limit (in the title) and the Keeper Limit (in the details) in this bug report ;)
If you watch the replay, you can see that you were still in the phase of complying with the Hand Limit - so of course you were not able to select any of your Keepers at that time.
Complying with the Keeper Limit would have been the next thing (and CFAC should not block anything there, you still choose to keep it or not, and then at end of the turn it will move if you kept it)
