When playing the Ark Nova solo challenge, you play 3 solo games in row with new cards/maps/bonuses, at the start of each game, you are offered 2 maps and pick one to play. For some reason, maps 9 and 10 can only show up on the first of the 3 games, I have played probably over 50 solo games since they have been available on solo mode, and they have never been offered on the second or third games of the solo challenge.
