The mouseover still gives full info of the card .
As for real-estate, the cards overlapping isn't so much the problem as is the the rightmost card missing part of the card itself. It's functional, though it makes the implementation look unfinished.
Would it be possible to leave the overlap for the other cards and only code the rightmost card in a set like that to be fully visible?
Also, for real-estate purposes, would it be possible to provide a card slider for size?
In this way, for larger games of five people, the cards could be made even smaller so that players could quickly examine the board state. The players can choose if they want the tableaus to be large so they can easily see them or small so they can look around for quick reference.
Again, thanks for your efforts so far on this project. Great looking game, and with how quick it plays, and the great artistic design, this could easily become one of the more popular arena games on the site.
You could just have all cards overlap each other, of all types. So it's one long line of cards at the end of the game.
Right now there's inconsistency with what is overlapping. Day and Night events don't overlap, but Day events do. I think they could both overlap once the game is over and they're revealed which would save space.
Danger cards don't overlap at the moment either.
