This is similar to the "trade timer abuse" in Catan, which is solved by the trade filter -- the player can auto-decline certain trade offers, to stop this kind of infinite loop.
However, we don't have that kind of "auto-decline" here for Gnome Hollow, and there is nothing I can do (besides accept the very bad offer) to stop the infinite loop. -
