The first tree I planted was an extra tree for 4 credits
The credits available did not update.
So I was only able to plant a 2nd tree for 2 credits.
I should have been able to purchase a 2nd tree for 3 credits.

Confirmed by publisher : this is not a bug.
The rules says: "the elements provided by your personal line and your protective trees can be taken into account again for future actions." in the "Using an action token" part.
The plant tree action adaptation has been made step by step in order to control the plant possibilities, but in fact this is the same as recruiting animals, you can't recruit an animal with sun element to increase your sun available elements during the action.
The new visibles elements can be used in bonus actions or future actions.
