Report history
So there are two possibilities:
1. If the players have the game in the same language, this language should be used to compare the cards
2. If the players don't use the same language, the english can be taken, but the information about the name in english should be known, maybe in the tooltip or with an special dialog only for this very moment, explaining that the cards' titles are going to be compared with ther english titles.
Your bug has probably been fixed already, or was linked to a temporary failure of BGA service.
In any case, when filling a bug report, make sure to have an explicit title linked to the incident (ex: with error message), so other players can recognize it and vote for it.
I definitely don't want to implement approach #1 that you mentioned though (nor is it feasible).
"Not folowing the first turn rule"
changed to
"When playing in non-English, it's unclear that the card name will be compared in English"
I'm planning to add the English name of the card to the hover tooltip (but only at the beginning of the game when it matters).
