I gained a bonus action after moving Onibi but the action was choosing a guardian but I only had 2 sun and all the guardians cost more than that. The choose guardian button was grayed out and there was no way to undo it or move on.

Report history
When watching the game replay, I can see that the crow (with a cost of 2 sun) was available for recruitment when you gained your bonus action.
You can access to this move here and see that this animal is selectable : boardgamearena.com/archive/replay/250305-0935/?table=639976267&player=92970797&comments=86644562;&goto=72
As this animal was on the recruitment line since the beggining of the game, I don't see any case where you haven't been able to select and recruit it on this move.
I mark this report as "not a bug" for now, but if you can double check it and confirm it would be great.
