There are several suggestions trying to address the issue caused by inadvertently moving a card from hand to side pile and ending a turn immediately. Unfortunately, the "confirm" option applies to every move, not just the undoable final move, and is more cumbersome than helpful.
This suggestion is to create a new game option: "Enable selecting destination pile before selecting card." with a default value of "Yes":
- When set to "Yes" and a player selects a card on a "side pile" and then selects a card in their hand, the card in their hand is moved to the "play pile" - this is the current behaviour (which some of us find annoying).
- But when set to "No" and a player selects a card on a "side pile" and then selects a card in their hand, the card in their hand is simply selected and ready to move to a "play pile" or "side pile" - this would be equivalent to what happens currently when selecting a card on a "side pile" and then selecting a card on a different "side pile". -
