In order to make the outcome clearer, especially for newer players, could the relevant numbers be highlighted and/or written out in addition to showing the cards themselves?
For example in my last game #656025315 it could show (4) for my opponent's final card (e.g. highlight the card number's at corner) to show that's what it is using to check with, the (4)s on the 3 and 5's code bars to show that they would have blocked it if it had been correct, then the full code (1,2,3) on my suitcase to show that those were the target numbers they had to aim for to win.
I know that's a lot and it's all explained in the rules anyways, but it's still a confusing thing for some people to remember and *very* complicated to get through your head if you're new. I've played a few times and I still need to check the rulebook at game start to remember which numbers on cards I'm supposed to be looking at for Suitcase, Last Card, etc. -
