I'm aware Random Deck is an option, but the rulebook does discuss creating your own sets
Unfortunately, it doesn't go into detail as to how this would work, but I'd suggest each player picks from the whole pool alternatively until the correct amount of each card type has been chosen*, then perhaps make the 2nd chooser the 1st player
*To clarify, I don't think all of one category needs to be picked before the next, so P1 could pick a Basic, P2 could pick a Spell, P1 could pick an Advanced, P2 could pick a Curse, P1 could pick a Basic (now Basics are fully picked, all remaining Basics are faded out) -
