Detailed description

• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
In the attached, currently ongoing game, I just received a magic token on the prior trick (it says move 10 now), but I do not have a. button that allows me to play the magic token.
Turn based game.
The token I have is the take a cookie piece form the left one. The rules don't seem to indicate that you cannot play it if not everyone would get a cookie piece - currently only one player would take a cookie piece if this were played as only one player has a piece so far. There are no threads on BGG discussing a ruling on this sort of scenario either. Don't know if you know more from the publisher/designer.
The rules indicate that the token should be playable at any point, including during another's turn:

"Magic markers can be used at any time during the game, on a player's turn, before or after they play their card, or on another player's turn." -

Report history
In your case, you received the marker after the trick was completed, so you were no longer there during your play action.
If this is not clear, please let me know so I can explain it in another way.
