I would like to see two different modes for the game:
1. Just the way it is now (great job btw). Perfect for real-time games.
2. An 'trackable info' version mostly for turn based games so players don't have to write tons of notes and go back in the log to see how the grid shifted and figure out the location of every tile that you have looked at or other players have given info about. It could include:
- Co-ordinates in the lop left corner of the tiles showing where they were at start of game.
Eg 4 2 would always show 4 2 even after being shifted
- In the top right of tiles; a tiny meeple in the color of any player that revealed the color of that tile, and a dot beside that in the color they said the tile is.
-If YOU have looked at an unrevealed tile, show the tile name only to YOU in the bottom left.

Report history
In a realtime game, for myself at least, I usually can't remember 100% of the information from the past, especially when rooms have moved around, doing my best to remember what is where anyway is part of what makes the game fun in my opinion. It might be better for seasoned players to at least have the option to just show partial information - I don't have a particular suggestion on how much / which information yet, it's something worth thinking over.
Even in a realtime game, a mode like that might be useful for people still learning how to play, as long as it is intuitively designed.
About coordinates, I think that would just be confusing, especially to beginners, since the rooms move around. I picture something like giving the rooms letters instead - so if Alice says a hidden room labelled with the letter Q is Red, it would put in the log "Alice: Room Q is a Red room" instead of "Alice: This is a Red room". Or maybe just "Alice: Q is a Red room".
However, first the focus has to be 100% on fixing known bugs and getting out of Beta, and there are currently a lot of known bugs so it will probably be a while. Due to that and not being able to promise to get it done at this point in time, I'm leaving this as awaiting, but it sounds like a good idea.
The no-track version and the full track version as discussed, but maybe also a semi-track version with a sort of "forgetful" mechanic where say, after 3 rounds, on round 4, info on round 1 gets forgotten to help turn based but also keep with the spirit of the memory game that this is
Of course, you can still use the log and replay to see everything, but as far as auto-tracking goes this forgetful mode would still retain some mystery at a glance
Also, a forgetful version of this would help with the guards, otherwise once they've said something it will be displayed on the game board all game so they can no longer change their lie or turn a truth into a lie
