#24939: ""The New Society" expansion"
What is this report about?
What happened? Please select from below
Suggestion: in my opinion, the following would greatly improve the game implementation
Detailed description
• Please explain your suggestion precisely and concisely so that it's as easy as possible to understand what you mean.
Implement the full expansion called "The New Society", which includes ALL of the "In Good Company" module (bug 24937), plus 7 replacements for base cards (discussed in bug 23023), 9 extra copies of base cards, a handful of new cards (e.g. New Farmers), extended aristocrat scoring, and special rules to accommodate a 5th player.
Rules: boardgamegeek.com/image/2364318/saint-petersburg-second-edition-new-society-comple
The new cards are very cool in themselves, but just the fact of having *more* cards also gives you a way to make (especially a 4-player) game a little longer and meatier.• Which browser are you using?
Google Chrome v85

Sep 17th 2020 23:25 • NOTE: Originally (first edition), there was just a single expansion called "The New Society" that included everything, but these have been split apart into separate IGC and TNS expansions in the second edition.

Sep 17th 2020 23:27 • (for what it's worth, I don't think there's any rush on needing to implement this, but I will say that I *always* use this expansion for 4p games and I think it makes the game way better!)

Sep 17th 2020 23:39 • Note: the extra Judge in this expansion should be priced at *whatever* price the other two Judges already in the deck are, whether that's 16 (first edition) or 17 (second edition).
(Lastly, just in case there is any confusion, if you ever come across a New Society aristocrat called "Clerk", that is simply a mistranslation; it is a Warehouse Manager.)
