• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
Everyone I have played this game with (including me) has wondered where the dice where when we attacked. It took me a while to find the dice icons in the log and I had to explain it to several of the others. Everyone was surprised that the dice were only in the game log. I'm guessing the visual for the dice just hasn't been implemented yet, but just in case I'll go ahead and make my case here. I don't think people should have to look at the log to figure out what is going on. The log is supposed to log what has already happened in the game, not show what is currently happening.
I recommend adding a dice visual like in the Yahtzee game. I think this would be much more intuitive and more visually appealing. Then, when one of the spaceship cards uses its reroll ability, the reroll could occur in a similar way to how rerolls occur in the Yahtzee game.
This change would probably work best if it is combined with a related ticket (30379) that suggests slowing down the animations. Otherwise the dice would likely flash on the screen and off again too quickly to be read. -
