Detailed description
-
• Please copy/paste the error message you see on your screen, if applicable.
When I choose to play a game against automatic opponents, by default, I get an error a few seconds later stating that single player games can only be played in training mode. Looking at the defaults, training mode is set to Never and each of the player counts are set to the highest preference.
What should happen is : 1 player should be set to never so games can begin without a user needing to change default settings. (Also, when an automatic game “matches” me with myself and nobody else, it is annoying.) -

Report history
Instead, I see that when I create a game of Welcome To with Manual opponent selection, if I change the range of players to be min1-max1, I get an error message saying "Solo mode for this game can only be played in Training Mode"
When I attempt to join a game of Welcome To with Automatic opponent selection, the default values are "OK with" for all player counts (and "Never" for Training Mode).
In contrast, for Bubble Pop!, when I create a game with Manual opponent selection, if I change the range of players to be min1-max1, I do not see such a warning.
When I attempt to join a game of Bubble Pop! with Automatic opponent selection, this fails, the request is canceled, and I see an error at the top: "Unexpected error: Solo mode for this game can only be played in Training mode"
While I am not a developer, I wonder if this is set in gameoptions.inc.php using the startcondition?
