Have not tried to reproduce.
Do you have the move number on which it happened in your game?
You raised the treasure; then you split cards with your opponent; then the last player to have taken a card from the treasure gets to chose a clue to reopen the hunt - it's part of the treasure splitting, not his turn -; then you are given back your turn, as you still have some amulets to spend; you spend one; when you stop, it's your opponent turn.
Not a bug, then!
