Report history
that's possible, because the player order is determined randomly.
How many times did it happen to you?

I think we need to clarify more before trying to fix something in the game logic.
1) The start player
In Onitama, the start player is determined by the little colored icon on the center card at the start of the game.
That implies a random start player and thus makes it possible for the same player to start 3 or more times in a row.
2) The color swap on a rematch
As far as I know, some games will per default keep the players colors and rotate the playing order in case of a rematch.
But I disabled that rotation feature for Onitama because the start player has to be determined randomly.
Personally I would prefer to keep my color after a rematch, but I don't think thats technically possible.
(you could try to use a preferred player color)
