I asked other devs, this seems to be a site-wide issue, and we game developers can't do anything about this, sorry :( ( boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=21722 )
But it seems to be only a temporary issue, you could try to watch some games in progress (or finished games), and if you see the tiles, then it means that your browser has loaded the image, and that playing a game should be fine.
(I'd be happy to know if the problem persists or not for you, and for how long.)
