I had fewer empty estate spaces than the person who was 2nd, but I was 3rd. This is a mistake as I was supposed to be 2nd.
Rules from the rule book: "The player who is the farthest along on the victory point track is the winner. In
the case of a tie, the winning player is the tied player with the fewest empty estate
spaces. Should there still be a tie, then the winning player is the tied player who
went later in turn order." -

Report history
'Game Results' uses tie breaker as follows: (: Tie breaker: Number of unused duchy/estate spaces (*100), then last in turn order ((6-disc spot) * 10 + (4-disc height in disc stack))
Rules say tie breaker should be FEWEST unused duchy/estate spaces (i.e. no most).
I should NOT have won. Both players scored 192. I had 11 unused spaces. Other player had 7 unused spaces.
I was supposed to loose.

Game results:

#2 - CelestinaAdams - 217
#3 - GreySector - 217
#4 - torrquan - 177
GreySector had 7 empty estate spaces and CelestinaAdams had 8 empty estate spaces, so GreySector should have placed second.

you could use negative values here "Number of unused duchy/estate spaces (*100)" to correctly weight the final score.
Thanks a lot!

time to fix it...
I had more than 39.
1st/2nd place both scored 201, but I was awarded second even though I had 9 unused spaces to 1st places 10.

I was robbed of a win.
Table #473522773
Coup #230
Progression 80%
1st/2nd place same score, but I was awarded second even though I had 9 unused spaces . my oponent had 10 empty spaces but was declared winner
Both player same score
I had 7 empty
the other had 15 and I lost.
I should have won.
Both player same score
I had 7 empty
the other had 9 and I lost.
I should have won.
The tie breaker rule is wrong on BGA. :(
I had 8 empty and less than oppoenent.
The tie break rule is still wrong.
(Looks like the rule on BGA is reversed)
C'est dommage ça fausse un peu les arènes et les tournois, mais bon ça reste qu'un jeu.
I think the point scoring system is trying to do the highest number instead of the lowest and they're using the times 100 to make it easier to calculate.

Pretty frustrating since this was part of a tournament
It is noted that the English translation has been incorrectly translated, however, I looked at the French rules (as the game Developer is from France) and the translation is the same in French And English. NOT incorrect. Whoever wrote the wiki rules has likely put their personal opinion and not the actual rule.
Please update as this has been an issue for a long time. Thank you.
