Awkward wording
Draw a card: ‘If deck HAS been depleted’
Play a card: ‘Cards played Face-up have effects resolved immediately’
Everywhere ‘Turn Face-up’ Is referenced it should always be ‘reveal’ to match instructions
Resolve Effects:
Once a card is played faced-up or becomes face up (is revealed by any effect) its effect is activated and resolved by the card owner. Resolving a card effect is mandatory, but you may target any Castle Piece, even those in which the effect will be useless.
Revealed cards effects are resolved after all pending effects have been resolved.
‘Position cannot be changed unless revealed by another card’s effect’
End of game scoring has confusing wording.
- Scoring is done by
o Adding points from face up castle pieces. Each face down castle piece is worth 1 point.
- For a Tie The game rules say ‘player who lives in the largest house’ BGA rules say ‘Player with less castle pieces wins.’ Not sure how this should be resolved
Card wording is awkward Original Wording is much clearer
Watchtower - reveal up to two Castle pieces
Observatory – Look at a face down Castle Piece, you may choose to turn it face up
Throne Room – Reveal a Castle Piece. The Piece has no effect this turn -
