I played "The Builders" some rounds with my friends in the past year. It happened a lot, that the first player gets 3 Masters and the others can't catch up with this player. I think, that is pretty a downer for the other players. Can't you randomize with the extra rule max. 1 Master at the starter cards?
Normally i would agree that its just luck. But it happened 3 times already in my past games and the player with the 3 masters always won of course. If you know from the beginning who will most likely win...well...that's no fun. -

I played "The Builders" some rounds with my friends in the past year. It happened a lot, that the first player gets 3 Masters and the others can't catch up with this player.
