When deciding to switch colors on the first turn, it would be nice to know what color is who? Instead of saying: "You must swap colors, play a stone, or play two stones and pass the color choice back" maybe say something like: "You must play as white, play a black stone, or play one white and one black and pass the color choice back."

Where in there does it tell you what color you are. All throughout the game I only know what color I am because of the last player's move. On my first move, I did not know what color I was. The sentence I "suggested" of course was only a suggestion. I am sure your programmers could make it much more clear. If nothing else. Indicate what color you are somewhere.
