I tried undoing move and repeating move and could not get it to work. I search BGG rules and FAQ and this should be allowed. In order to continue the game I did "undo" and selected a different space tile so I could repeat interstellar travel on a future turn.

My turn happened after "DICTATORSHIP of akh911007 is over"

Unfortunately, it is not easy to find this rule. The most recent expansion rulebook included the clarification that a player may not activate the same spot more than once during their turn. It is not on the FAQ, I believe, but there is a BGG forum about this: boardgamegeek.com/thread/2757840/same-space-twice

thanks for the thread. I didn't see this rule in the base game rulebook and don't see the expansion rules linked on the page so I didn't know about it. I appreciate the explanation.

I wouldn't call it a "clarification" though, it's a rule change, isn't it?

That's a very good question. Some people would argue with the designer that it is indeed a rule change, but in the expansion rulebook it is listed as a "clarification." I won't attempt to speak for the designer's intent here.

It may not be a bug, but it certainly sounds like an implementation of an expansion book's rules change/clarification into a game that is not using that expansion.

No this rule applies reproactively for base game, it is not rule for expansion
