It would be nice to have an option to select a colorblind aid mode. This could be in the options menu where the zoom level also has options. This way the original art is as close as possible to the original art for most players, but those that need it or find it helpful can choose the colorblind aids.
The vines that are different colors also have different patterns, so these do pass as accessible for colorblind.
The different colors of flower for each player are all the same shape. It would be helpful in general if your own flowers are highlighted with a glow or pale outline so that they stand out more.
To make them more fully colorblind accessible an easy solution could be to add numbers. For reference the BGA adaptation of Century has a colorblind mode with 2 options. One options has coordinating numbers on each crystal color. The other option has a different shape outlines around each crystal color. This could be adapted for the flower tokens. Since the name matches the color, it would also mean adding a flower token in coordinating color under the player name in the scoring area to know which number/shape belongs to which players flower token. -

Thanks a lot for raising this suggestion and all the ideas / details you provided!
I totally agree the game is not accessible today, and it's a problem.
As BGA's policy is to stay as close to the original game as possible, I'll need to refer to the publisher.

Thanks for the simulations!
I have shared the idea with BGA so they can share it with the publisher. They seem to be quite busy, since I haven't received an answer yet.
I'll let you know once I get a reply.
