Report history
If its not secret or is explicitly public then it should be shown.
This information is already shown, by necessity, with Knights as the number of knights played by each player determines if someone has the largest army. It is not much more of a stretch to share the victory point cards played or the resource bonus cards.
In a game irl, these would be easy to keep track of because the knowledge would be fresh.
If this is debated perhaps there can be a game setting that determines if private information is made public, this is implemented in saint Petersburg and homesteaders.
Which Development Cards have already been played is public information on a table of Catan, either because they are shown in front of the player (Knights) or because they are in the discard pile (Monopoly, Road Building, Year of Plenty). The only exception are obviously victory points (e.g. Library, Church) because they are only played on the last turn.
BGA's implementation of Catan does show how many Knights have been played by every players, but it *does not* show how many Monopoly, Road Building, or Year of Plenty cards have already been played and discarded.
