As far as I can see, there doesn't seem to be any reason why the selecting of cards can't be simultaneous as you don't know what other players have picked until the reveal anyway.

As far as I can see, there doesn't seem to be any reason why the selecting of cards can't be simultaneous as you don't know what other players have picked until the reveal anyway.

This suggestion will not be implemented because it is simply against the rules.
You understand that knowing how many cards the preceding players have played is an important part of the decision of the card to play.
