meant for new learners or people who want to easily see possible moves, but if the combo is a 3 card straight, it would be helpful mark cards that dont qualify as unclickable (e.g. 2's but also say the random singles). likewise if someone plays a 2 but slmeone has a bomb, those cards are visible to hint to the player that the bomb is available and can beat it. it could be easy to forget or not know that rule.
also similar to when a weaker single, pair or straight(suit wise) would make it obvious which can or cannot be played -
