First time that happens to me this situation
red car should be in the clear to put 5th gear vector down but all spots are marked with a red X and was forced to do emergency brake.

about the latest comment: the issue seem to have been caused by an "extreme" maneuver for which the car has both crossed the lap line and passed the curve in the same turn, which the game doesn't always handle well. in fact, the game still thinks you have to pass the first curve, as it's the one highlighted. i will look at the replay once i can access it to find more clues.
btw, looking at the current game state, how were you able to overcome the invisible wall?
