Since each player is going to pass at a different point in a round, it would be helpful (especially in turn based games) to know which players have passed. Games like Terra Mystica gray out the player's box (ie where there name/points/resources are summarized) and this is a very convenient visual cue.

Whether an opponent passed or not affects my play. Currently, only way to identify is reading the log.
