Free Trade Zone says 'Grey world require two fewer settlers to complete (but no fewer than two)'
I had one die on a 1-cost grey world, settle phase happened, but I did not settle the world. The only reason for this I can imagine is because of the 'no fewer than two' restriction of FTZ, but in this case it should not be applicable, I guess, because it should not make settling a world more expensive in any case -

Same problem.
Table #39960392
1 point gray world cost 2 dice. 2 point gray world took 2 dice.
A 1-cost grey world took 2 dice to settle.
A 1 cost grey world needs more to settle

Regarding to the other entries: okay, that really sound weird.
my entry: table 44035007, turn 147: I've already had a die on a 2-world, build than the ftz and then happens a settle phase again with no effect. In the first I've assumed that the condition is not checked again as long as I spent no dice in that phase (should be checked regardless of that), but looking at the other entries there may also some miscalculation when solving the effect.

And it is "wrong" according to the game creator's response on BGG:
boardgamegeek.com/article/18197147#18197147
This is wrong and probably caused by the "(minium 2 cost)" line of Free Trade Zone.

You can see it in the screenshot. A die sits on a 1-cost world and it is somehow not completed.

The clarification by the co-designer at boardgamegeek.com/thread/1312841/article/18197147#18197147 clears up the confusion: This really is a bug.

Same problem - built high-gravity world and it should have taken one die, but took two, tying up multiple dice on the world below, that should have also been completed in the same turn. I also had free trade zone, and suspect that for grey worlds, it is reducing the build cost by 2, then topping up to 2, even if the cost started at 1. Looks like it’s been a known problem for ages, and it just completely messed me up! Should be an easy fix, would appreciate for future. Many thanks.
That 1 cost grey worlds should be unaffected by Free Trade Zone.
Haven't had a chance to check the interaction with Replicant Robots but that should be checked at the same time.
boardgamearena.com/1/rollforthegalaxy?table=127697180
It failed to build fifth column even though it had a red die on it.
I also had a 3 cost grey world which required all 3 settlers even though I had Free Trade Zone

Why hasn't this bug been fixed? This is a 3 year old ticket first reported in 2018.

Had "free trade zone" and 3 planets queued up.
"High Gravity World" 1-gray, "Asteroid Belt" 2-brown, "Gateway Station" 3-gray with 4 settlers
"High Gravity World" charged me 2 rather than 1 so only "High Gravity World" and "Asteroid Belt" were built and all settlers were used.
Table 193595335.
Final move of the game. World did not build.
@MeglaGnome's comment from Jan 7th 2018 seems to apply: Free Trade doesn't seem to give a discount if the grey world already has a dice on it, or if you are settling multiple grey worlds in one settle phase.
Not only did it not settle a 2-cost gray world for 1 worker, but it then required 2 workers to settle a 1-cost gray world!
I'm not sure how to get ID numbers for individual moves.
I'm going to ask the other players to end the game by mutual assent
i had enough dice to pay two for high gravity world (which should cost 1) after playing rebel hideout same phase.
Move 70-73 (approximately)
Outlaw World (2 cost grey) and Rebel Hideout (2 cost grey) should cost 1 die to construct. But they both cost 2 dice. This is a potentially game-losing bug. I was going to also settle Terraformed World (5 cost grey) as well as the previous 2 worlds using only 5 dice due to a 4 die discount, but now I'm going to have to pay full price for all 3, ON TOP OF the fact that I was fishing for grey worlds using explore actions and discarding useful stuff because they weren't grey worlds.

F5 did not help, has happened on 2 consecutive tables

It cannot be hard to fix this... it's a simple exception for the "min. 2" condition, maybe 5-10 lines of code, if one is generous...

If you're reporting this bug again, no one is listening. They gave up development of this game about 2 minutes after it launched.
