The Sporano moves the caper tracker for each discarded red card one step. So when it is played once for all red gear cards in the discard pile and when a red card is discarded later also. Last thing didn't work in the referred game in two rounds where both times a red card was the last gear card in my hand and was discarded automatically after playing the second last gear card.
