90 cards with both sides used, or 180 sides.
Each side is composed of:
• 3 colors (blue, green, or orange)
• A number from 1 to 6 or a joker *
• 1 or 3 victory points
Setup
Make a draw pile with 15 cards per player, which is shuffled.
The remaining cards are set aside until the next game.
Game Turn
On your turn, you have 2 choices: 1 - Draw a card. 2 - Validate and score a series.
1 - When drawing a card, you have 2 choices:
- Take the top card from the draw pile without turning it over.
- Turn over the card before taking it.
This second action is mandatory if the card is identical to a card in your hand.
2 - Validate and score a series:
A series is composed of 2 to 6 cards of the same suit that follow one another consecutively (including jokers).
Select the cards in this series (from 2 to 6) and score the total victory points written on these cards.
Discard the 2 largest cards in this series, regardless of the number of cards in it.
Your 2 neighbors turn over their largest card of the suit in this series, if they have one.
Note: A neighbor only turns over a joker if it is their only card in that suit. ===There is another way to score a contract, the square pattern:===
A square pattern is made up of 9 cards on your table, 3 cards of each suit.
Warning: You do not need to validate this contract like you would for a series.
Immediately score 7 victory points as soon as this shape is achieved.
It can be obtained during a draw round or by turning over one of your cards due to an opponent validating a series.
To obtain another square and score 7 points again, you must first break your square, and then reform it.
You don't have to discard any cards, and neither do your neighbors (unlike a series).
Front and Back of a Card
The back of each card has the following properties compared to its front:
• The color is never identical (e.g., the back of a blue card is either green or orange)
• If a card scores 1 victory point, its back shows 3, and vice versa.
• The back of a value is always plus or minus 1 (e.g., the back of a 6 is either 5 or 1)
Similar Cards
At any time during the game, a similar card in your hand, following a flip, must be discarded immediately.
End of Game
The game ends when the central draw pile is empty.
Each player can validate a single, final set of cards, without causing any opponents to turn over their cards.
Add up your victory points.
The player with the highest score wins the game.
Single-player mode
In single-player mode, the goal is to achieve the highest possible score.
Build a draw pile of 35 cards.
Each turn, you must draw a card OR validate a set of cards.
At the end of each turn, simulate another player's turn by turning over the top card of the draw pile to reveal its other side.
● If one of the sides of this opponent's card is a joker, nothing happens.
● If the value of its upside-down side is strictly higher than its original side, turn over your highest-value card of the same color as the upside-down side.
Finally, discard this opponent's card and play your next turn.
End of the game.
When the central draw pile is empty, the game ends immediately. You may then validate one last set of cards. Calculate your score by adding up your victory points.
