We all love cats. And by all, I mean... me. To start.

And this game is no exception to me: there is an island full of cats. FULL OF CATS!

But we need to save them before the evil Lord Vesh arrives.

And as we know, cats are not the best animals when it comes to being in water.

If there was an animal swimming competition, I would not bet on a cat.

So the goal of the game is to fill our boat with cats from the island to rescue all of them.

Can you imagine that?

A boat full of purring balls of fur?

Each cat is represented by a unique tile, with different shapes and colors, and belongs to a family.

So we need to make them fit on deck while keeping families together.

*You will also need to manage resources as you:

*- Explore the island (by drafting cards)

• Rescue cats

• Find treasures

• Befriend Oshax

• Study ancient lessons

Each lesson you collect adds another way of scoring points with either a personal or public goal, and there are 38 unique lessons available. Complete lessons, fill your boat, and keep cat families together to score points. The player with the most points after five rounds wins.

It is a cute game for 1 to 4 players, lasting less than an hour. It won quite a few nominations worldwide, so it is definitely worth a look.. or a try!

In short, The Isle of Cats is a competitive, medium-weight, card-drafting, polyomino cat-placement board game.

Thanks to the designer Frank West and the publisher The City of Games, this title is now available for you all to play on your favorite platform!

And, obviously, nothing would have been possible without the one, the only, the Mr. Mistoffelees: bennygui, who developed the game for you all to enjoy.

No fancy expansions available for the moment, but you can play in Family or Solo mode, which is quite convenient to discover this awesome game.
