Fair warning -- I am aggressive in expelling players during turn-based games. I normally play 1 turn per day -- If you can't check in every 24 hours, the game isn't important to you. If you think you might go over time, leave a note -- I'm quite lenient when there is communication.
Also, if you're going to give me a thumb's-down, please explain yourself on the game that it happened. Otherwise there's no way for me to get my behavior more in line with what you expect. A retaliatory thumb's down when you see your number increase helps nobody. Except maybe fragile egos.
