About me
Carcassonne is my escape from the stress of modern life, although when the tiles are being mean it sometimes increases my stress levels. Even when things go bad in Carcassonne, the worst that can happen is that you drop a few ELO points that you can build-up again later. Choose fun - choose Carcassonne :-)
I like the social aspect of meeting people from many countries. I would much rather have a fun chat with someone during the game and lose (not too often, hopefully) than win against someone who is a bad loser.
A little bit about me: I HATE celery, to the extent that it is the only food I would rather have bodily inserted than have to eat!
In case you are wondering, my avatar is a self-portrait (photography is another of my hobbies). I changed my avatar in February 2021 to a happier one after losing more than 2½ stones (16 kg) since September :-D
Handy tip not related to Carcassonne: to avoid embarrassment, if somebody asks for a spoon, do check if they mean 'spoon' as a noun or the verb!
