NekonyancerIn *Easy Peasy,* players will take turns playing cards on the table to try and empty either their [red]*hand*[/red] or their [blue]*row,*[/blue] ending the round. At that point, each player will gain points based on the cards they have left. If the player who ended the round does NOT gain the fewest points, they'll be severely punished! [green]After 3 rounds, whoever has the fewest points wins![/green]2maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerThe deck consists of 60 cards. They are numbered from 1-10 and come in 6 colors. However, *2/2/1/0/0* colors are removed in a *2/3/4/5/6* player game. This tutorial will showcase a *2-player* game, so we'll only use *4* colors (40 cards).3maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerAt the beginning of each round, each player is dealt a [red]*hand*[/red] of four cards and a [blue]*row*[/blue] of four cards. You might need to *scroll down* a little bit to see ours.4maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerThe cards in our [blue]*row*[/blue] are on the table. They're arranged in two piles of two, with the bottom card in each pile laid *face down.* Our opponent can see how many cards we're holding in our [red]*hand,*[/red] but not what each card is.5ep_card_front_9

NekonyancerIn the center of the table, you'll find the [red]*Up/Down card.*[/red] The first player of the round must decide whether to set it to "Up" or "Down." BGA picked us as the first player! *Click on [blue]"Down!"[/blue]*6ep_card_front_10000

Nekonyancer[blue]Okay, now we can take our first turn![/blue] On each turn, we must perform one of the following actions: *• Play a card* OR *• Flip the Up/Down card, draw 2 cards, and take another action.* We'll start by playing a card.1maintitlebar_content

NekonyancerPlaying a card means moving a card from either our *row* or our *hand* to one of the [red]*discard piles*[/red] next to the [blue]*Up/Down card.*[/blue] The number on the card we play must be either *less than/equal to* or *greater than/equal to* the number on the card we cover up, depending on the [blue]*Up/Down card.*[/blue]2ep_card_back_10000

NekonyancerIn this case, since we set the card to Down, we need to play *lower numbers.* If we play a card of the same color as the card we cover, we can take a *bonus action!* *Select the Purple 8 in our hand. Place it on the [red]right discard pile![/red]*3maintitlebar_content

Nekonyancer[blue]Good. For our bonus action, we must choose one of the following:[/blue] • *Play* another card onto the *same pile,* following the same rules. • *Flip* one of the piles in our row. • *Pass.*1ep_card_front_9

NekonyancerThe color matched again, so we triggered another bonus action! This time, let's *flip a pile.* If we flip our left pile, our orange 8 will end up face down. We can't play face down cards. *1.* Click on [blue]*Flip a Pile*[/blue] at the top. *2.* Select the [red]*right pile*[/red] (the single face down card).1ep_card_card_15

NekonyancerIt turned out to be a [blue]*Blue 5.*[/blue] [red]That's it for our turn! Now our opponent will go![/red]1ep_card_card_15

Nekonyancer[blue]Next turn! Let's examine our options.[/blue] Looks like we can play the Red 4 or the Red 1. Either way, we won't get a bonus action. That's terrible! Do you remember the other thing we can do each turn? Flip the Up/Down card, draw 2 cards, and take another action. NekonyancerWe should get those juicy bonus actions whenever we can, so the Blue 5 is definitely the right call here! *Play the Blue 5 on the [blue]left discard pile![/blue]*2ep_card_front_15

NekonyancerWe're out of blue cards, so we can't get any more bonus actions. We can only play one more card. In general, we should prioritize playing our cards with high numbers, so... *Play the Orange 8 on the [blue]left pile![/blue]*1ep_card_front_10000

NekonyancerAll our opponent did was play a *Blue 2.* Seems like a terrible turn for them, but they had good reasons for it. Look at [blue]*their row!*[/blue] They're clearly setting themselves up to play the *Blue 6* and *Blue 7* next turn!1ep_card_front_2

NekonyancerLet's block them by playing the *Red 4* on the right pile. This will also set us up to play *Red 5* and *6* next turn! *Play the Red 4 on the [red]right pile![/red]*2ep_card_card_11

Nekonyancer*Uh-oh!* They played the *Red 8* and *Blue 9,* emptying their [red]*hand!*[/red] !!! Whenever a player ends their turn with an empty hand or row, the round ends!1ep_card_front_1

NekonyancerWhen a round ends, BGA reveals all the face down cards in each player's row and then adds up the numbers on their remaining row cards to get a total. BGA will then add up their remaining hand cards to get a second total. The *higher* total becomes their *round score.* The lower total is ignored. [red]Players who did not end the round will gain points equal to their round score.[/red]3ep_card_card_20

NekonyancerThere's a special rule for the player who ended the round: if their round score is the lowest among all players, they will gain [green]0 points[/green] instead of their score. [red]If their score is *not* the lowest, they will gain *double!*[/red]4ep_zone_hand_1

NekonyancerIn this case, the cards in our row add up to *9.* The cards in our hand add up to *16.* Thus, our round score is *16.* We didn't end the round, so we'll gain *16* points.5ep_card_front_20

NekonyancerThe cards in our opponent's hand add up to *0.* The cards in their row add up to *19,* so their round score is *19.* Since they ended the round and do not have the lowest round score, [red]they will gain points equal to double their score![/red]6ep_zone_hand_1
