Ant50Let's get into it! In Euchre, the ranking of the cards depends on the trump suit which changes each round. Trump refers to the suit which has the highest rank for a particular round. 3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
Ant50In general the order of trump cards is: Right Bower (the Jack of trumps) Left Bower (the Jack of the same colour as trump) Ace King Queen Ten Nine4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000

Ant50There are *three* choices for us to choose from at the top: 1. [green] Order it up[/green] - This means we accept the current suit as trump. 2. [green] Go alone [/green] - This means we accept the current suit as trump *BUT* we play the round without our partner. 3. Ant50Our team is the *makers* for this hand since we chose the trump suit. The other team is the *defenders*. Points are awarded as follows at the end of the round: 1. Maker wins all 5 tricks playing alone - *4 points* 2. Makers win all 5 tricks - *2 points* 3. Makers win 3 or 4 tricks - *1 point* 4.
