MONSTER FACTORY: And suddenly to my surprise, He did the monster mash!

Image

I was working in the lab, late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab, began to rise

Wahoooo!

It's time for the Monster Factory now!

In Monster Factory, the players take turns drawing and placing tiles, either adding to their own monsters or to those of their opponents. The goal is to make monsters that are big, but not so big that they remain unfinished.

Yes, it's THAT simple.

The game was on the 2013 Golden Geek Best Children's Board Game Nominees and 2015 Guldbrikken Best Children Game Nominees, and for a reason: Monster Factory is similar to a very light Carcassonne-like game, where you pick tiles and lay them down to build your monster.
If you can't play the tile, you throw it away.

At the end, you just count-up the number of tiles composing the player's monstrosity.

It's a simple, simple fun, for 2 to 6 players, that last for 20 minutes, and especially designed for kids, so they can start thinking about tile connections.
As an adult, i enjoy it for it's simple rules and laid-back mechanisms. A nice way to chill for a few minutes on BGA.

We would like to thank, as always, the game designers, Donald X. Vaccarino (yes, from Dominion), and Nina Paley who did the graphic work. Of course, we are more than happy to work again with Rio Grande Games to bring this title to you.
The game has been developed by Kayvon, and is totally playable from any device thanks to him. Kudos to you!

Also, for something completely different...
