salamander12Welcome to Sushi Go! In just a few minutes, we will learn how to play.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
salamander12The goal of the game is to get the most points possible in three rounds. To accomplish this, you get cards. Different cards give different amounts of points. For example, a Squid Nigiri is worth 3 points, and two Tempura are worth five points.1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment61bc0f29517cc00
salamander12On your turn, choose one card to play. Let's take the Squid Nigiri because it is worth the most points out of this hand, and confirm our selection.2my_cards_item_1361bc0f29517cc10my_cards_item_13 6
salamander12These are Chopsticks. With Chopsticks, you can take two cards instead of only one. Once played, the Chopsticks go back into your hand and get passed on. Chopsticks give no points.2played_89298478_item_10361bc0f2bbf56d00
salamander12And this is Wasabi. Wasabi triples the points of the next Nigiri you take. However, you cannot play Wasabi on a Nigiri already played. A Wasabi without anything on it is worth nothing.3my_cards_item_5861bc0f2bbf56d00
salamander12Three Sashimi gives us 10 points, so it's a good idea to take them at the start of the round if no one else already has them. However, because only one or two Sashimi will give us nothing, we have to be careful and pay attention to what the other players take.4my_cards_item_7361bc0f2bbf56d10my_cards_item_73 6
salamander12This is a Pudding card. At the end of the game, the person with the most Pudding gets 6 points, but the person who has the least LOSES 6 points, so it's usually a good idea to go for Pudding when it comes up.3played_89298478_item_461bc0f3c8320400
salamander12As there is no Sashimi, take this Dumpling card instead. Dumplings are nice because the more of them you have, the more points you get, independent of another card to go with it.1my_cards_item_1261bc0f46e28cc10my_cards_item_12 6
salamander12If you scroll down you can see that lots of Sashmi was already taken, so there probably isn't any left in this round. Take the Dumpling.1my_cards_item_761bc0f49e82b510my_cards_item_7 6
salamander12These people have played a Salmon Nigri on their Wasabi. It's value has gone from 2 points to 6 points!1played_85595553_item_5861bc0f536bf7200played_85595553_item_58 12 played_89276972_item_28 12
salamander12Two Tempura give 5 points. No Tempura has been taken yet, so we have a pretty good chance of getting two if we take one now.1my_cards_item_1761bc0f5bcbd2d10my_cards_item_17 6
salamander12Only one choice: Take a Dumpling.1my_cards_item_9861bc0f6a9448f10my_cards_item_98 6
salamander12Time to introduce Maki rolls: at the end of the round, the person with the most Maki gets 6 points, and the person with the second most gets 3. Everyone else gets nothing. But because we are unlikely to get enough Maki, let's take the Egg Nigiri.1my_cards_item_9461bc0f770c19410my_cards_item_94 6
salamander12The last card of your hand gets played automatically.1my_cards_item_2461bc0f8e0301900
salamander12Here you can see the results of the round. We have 10 points.3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment61bc0f8e08a6800
salamander12The other two rounds continue the same way. If you need a reminder on what a card does, just hover your mouse over the card and it tells you. Have fun playing!4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment61bc0f8e08a6800
