[blue]*Welcome to Chromino!*[/blue] This is an abstract game based around *colored dominos.* It's a great game for kids and adults!
[green][tip] This tutorial is best viewed on a computer![/green]1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
NekonyancerIn *Chromino,* your goal is to get rid of all the tiles in your hand, which is shown in *[red]the box labeled "My tiles."[/red]*
Each tile is composed of three colored squares. These squares may be the same or different colors.2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000playerhand_wrap 6
NekonyancerSome tiles have a white C as their central square. This C stands for Chameleon. [red]*It counts as every color at once!*[/red]
The game will start with one tile already placed on the board. This tile will *always* have a Chameleon square!3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
NekonyancerEach turn, you must place one tile from your hand onto the board so that two rules are followed:
*1)* Your placed tile must touch at least [blue]*two existing squares*[/blue] on the board.
*2)* No squares on your placed tile may touch squares of a *different color.*4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
Nekonyancer*Let's try it!*
Select this tile from your hand:

It immediately went into the *"Selected tile" box,* where you can rotate it. We won't rotate this one though. Click next to the starting tile to place it as shown:

Nekonyancer*Great!*
This placement is legal because it *touches two existing squares* (the Chameleon square and the green square) and there are no squares on the placed tile that touch squares of *different colors.*
[green][tip] Remember, the White C (chameleon) tile counts as every color, so placing the red square next to it is fine![/green]1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment627557186cc3500
Nekonyancer[red]*Our opponent just placed a tile in a weird way.*
[/red] But remember, the rule is that the tile must touch two existing squares, *NOT* that two squares on the placed tile touch two existing squares.
Thus, placing into a corner follows the rules!1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment627557291f8dd00
Nekonyancer[blue]*It's your turn again.*
*Can you place this tile by yourself?*[/blue]

Nekonyancer*Great job!*
Eventually, you may find yourself with no possible moves. In this case, *[red]you must draw a tile from the tile bag.[/red]*
But cheer up! *You may immediately place that drawn tile,* if possible!
[green]*It's just like Uno!*[/green]1archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment62755739ed7c100
NekonyancerWhen you have only one tile left in your hand, you must *reveal it* to all players. This will give them an opportunity to block!
It would be way too easy if your final tile was a *Chameleon* tile though, so...
[red] !!! If your final tile is a chameleon tile, you must draw another tile from the tile bag! !!![/red]2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment62755739ed7c100
NekonyancerAfter you play your final tile, play will continue until all players have had the *same number of turns.* If your opponent manages to empty their hand too, then you'll be declared joint winners!3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment62755739ed7c100
Nekonyancer[blue]*There are two variations of the game:*[/blue]
1) *Junior Play.* This variation works just like regular dominos. Each placed tile must only contact one existing square. The board will end up looking more like this:

Nekonyancer2) *Expert Play.* In this variation, each tile is given a value equal to the number of colors on it. A tile with three different colors would be worth three points.
When tiles are placed, the player receives points equal to the values of the placed tile *AND* any tiles it touches!

Nekonyancer(Expert Play) When a player completely empties their hand, whoever has the most points wins!6archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment62755739ed7c100
Nekonyancer[blue]*I hope you enjoyed this tutorial for Chromino!*[/blue]
